Frost Hollow Photography recently celebrated its twelfth anniversary. But the journey began decades before. It began with a love for nature and the great outdoors. It began with an appreciation for both the grandeur and intricacies of the natural world that surrounds us. Photography, like most art, is about passion.

As a business, it is my job to provide images which fit the client’s needs. I have succeeded in doing that for clients such as National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Vermont Life, and Transworld Media. It it’s a thrill to produce images for businesses such as Anheuser-Busch, Coca cola, Burton Snowboards, and Peaks Resorts.

Each time I pick up my camera, I hope to capture a special moment in time. A moment that might be a rarely seen glimpse into the nature world, a child’s expression of wonder, a beautiful grand scenic, or the peak of an athletic endeavor. When I get it right, the image bellows out the proverbial thousand words. Photographer/filmmaker Paul Strand, in a fit of impatience once said, “The world is full of picture makers who have nothing to say.” I continue to try not to be one of them.
